Your first stop is at the Equator for a memorable photo session and a quick visit to the souvenir shops. Continue to Mbarara city, known as the “Land of Milk and Honey,” and enjoy a delicious lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre.
Afterward, resume your journey through the rolling hills of Kabale, arriving at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening. Check into your pre-booked lodge for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay, ready for the exciting adventure ahead.

After a hearty breakfast, gather your packed lunch and plenty of bottled water, then meet your driver for a transfer to the park headquarters. Here, you’ll receive a briefing on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking and be assigned to a group and gorilla family. Embark on your trek into the forest with a knowledgeable guide and ranger, who will help you navigate the terrain and ensure your safety. As you trek through the lush forest, keep an eye out for various wildlife and flora.

Upon locating the gorillas, you’ll have a magical hour to observe them in their natural habitat. Take photos, watch the young ones play, and marvel at the silverback as it protects its family. After this unforgettable encounter, trek back to the starting point where your driver will be waiting to take you back to the lodge.
