After a hearty breakfast, gather your packed lunch and bottled water, then meet your driver for a transfer to the park headquarters. Receive a briefing on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking, then embark on your trek into the forest with a knowledgeable guide and ranger.
Upon locating the gorillas, you’ll have a magical hour to observe them in their natural habitat. After this unforgettable encounter, trek back to the starting point where your driver will be waiting to take you back to the lodge.
After some relaxation time at the lodge, embark on the Batwa cultural tour. Engage with the Batwa community, learn about their traditions, and gain insights into their way of life. Return to the lodge for dinner and a well-deserved rest.
